Science Gallery Bengaluru is a not for profit public institution for research-based engagement for young adults. Their work is at the interface of the natural, human, social sciences, engineering and art, and the work is conducted through exhibitions, mentorship programmes and a Public Lab Complex. SGB began with support from the Government of India and academic partners Indian Institute of Science, National Centre for Biological Sciences, and Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology. It is also connected to the Global Science Gallery Network. The focus of their work is to empower young adults through mentorships, encouraging open ended experiments for young adults and experts to collaborate, providing research tools and outcomes. They also work on public engagement and community initiatives that contribute to building a society with critical appreciation for science.
