The University of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology (TDU) promotes trans-disciplinary research and education. With focus on the interface of Ayurveda and Biology within its first decade, TDU has a substantial collection of Ayurveda medical literature and infrastructure for research in phyto-chemistry, genetics microbiology, molecular and cell biology. The university also manages a 100-bed research hospital called IAIM (Institute of Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine).
