CEHAT is an interface between progressive people’s movements and academia, conducting rigorous academic health research that is socially relevant, and working on advocacy and welfare projects. They use their work to establish direct services and programmes that can demonstrate how health can be made accessible, ethical and equitable. A multidisciplinary team, they offer courses and training, disseminate information through databases and publications, and work in the areas of health services and finances, legislation and patient rights, women’s health violence and health.

Why they are the right choice for others:

  • Work is public by default, and their repositories of data are made available to people’es movements, policy makers and policy implementation with the hope of informing to campaigns around social issues.
  • These libraries are multilingual and in several formats to disseminate in the public sphere.
  • Work on offering knowledge and training for gender sensitive health interventions, crisis and pedagogy at the national level
