Bodhana in Assam is a non-profit that works on the prevention of gender-based violence in society. Bodhana has worked with Project Maanush in Assam with Jagori Grameen and One Billion Rising on a 16 Day campaign formed for the international women’s movement. Held between 25 November and 10 December, in 2021 the theme was ‘Orange the world: End violence against women now!” This was a theme against gender-based violence. The campaign organised midnight walks, self defense training for girls, competitions around art and painting, film screenings, mural art and a cycle rally.
