By promoting transformatory formal and non-formal learning processes, Nirantar aims to enable girls and women from marginalised communities to better understand and address their realities.
Nirantar also works at the community-level and undertakes research on critical issues that need greater attention from the state as well as civil society. Developing feminist leadership at the community level is an important part of their mandate.
