An annual music event conducted in Bangalore, it is a platform that encourages young Hindustani Classical artists to perform their music on the big stage to discerning audiences with music critics and rasikas present. Inspired by the Late Smt. Lalita Ubhayaker, a well known Hindustani classical vocalist from the Agra Gharana, the Utsav is a tribute to her son. Over a decade, this Utsav has hosted several talented artists who have gone on to gain great fame in their art, including the Padmashri Gundecha Brothers, Ustad Rashid Khan, and Ustad Wasifuddin Dagar.

Why are they the right choice for others:

  • Uplifting the arts to forefront new talent in the the public sphere through ease of access and support.
  • A public spirited event to foster continuity in arts traditions and teaching.
